HOUSTON, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- KRUG International Corp. (AMEX: KRG) today announced net earnings for the third quarter of fiscal 1997 of $258,000 or $.05 per share compared to $156,000 or $.03 per share in the third quarter of 1996. The increased net earnings in the current year resulted from improved profitability of the Corporation's U.S. Life Sciences subsidiary and the U.K. Housewares Manufacturing business as well as favorable foreign currency translation and a lower effective foreign income tax rate. Revenues for the third quarter ended December 31, 1996, were $28.4 million, an increase of 28%, compared to $22.2 million for the third quarter last year. Each of ...
