Dec. 28--Ladle by ladle, Tony Levins dished out a meat-and-vegetable grab bag of happiness that can only be found in a warm stew on a cold winter night. This wasn't just any stew, though -- this was hobo stew. It's a recipe of Levins' own creation, which he was serving at the weekly Veterans of Foreign Wars dinner Saturday night at VFW Post 10102. "Over the years, I just kind of added things to it, and it turned out this way. I used to call it slop," the Burlington man said with a grin.
