Hungarian oil company MOL, Italy's ENI to swap 36 filling stations in Austria, Romania

BUDAPEST. DECEMBER 29. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungary's top oil company MOL and Italy's ENI signed an agreement Monday to swap a total 36 of their filling stations in Austria and Romania, with an aim to optimize their respective operations on these markets.

"The goal of the swap in both countries is to optimize market shares and realize growth targets," MOL said in a statement.

Under the agreement, MOL will take over from the ENI group 26 Agip filling stations in Austria, and will in exchange hand over 10 MOL filling stations in Romania to ENI.
