All season long, close friends and position mates of Todd Doxey have tried their hardest to stay positive in the wake of his drowning over the summer.
The Ducks have become more tightly knit as part of the grieving process, they say, and six of them channeled the former UO safety by wearing his jersey number in games this fall. Rather than ignore a difficult situation, the Ducks have embraced it, a process that continued when the team learned of its postseason destination.
