Sharp India observes block closure in its unit
Mumbai, Dec 29 (PTI) -- Electronics major Sharp India today said it will close its manufacturing activities and related departments at its factory at Koregaon Bhiman near Pune.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Sharp India informed that the company would observe block closure for its manufacturing activities and related departments at its factory at Koregaon Bhima, from December 29, 2008 to December 31, 2008 (both days inclusive).
However, the finance department would continue to work as usual, it added.
