A SINGAPOREAN company has distanced itself from threats to sue the Bahrain government over its choice of firms to build a recycling plant. Keppel Corporation has said it accepts Bahrain's decision to award the contract to a French company.
It was listed as a subcontractor in a failed bid by Singapore-based EAG Capital in the BD280 million project.
Sources had told the GDN that EAG Capital and Keppel were planning legal action against the government for its handling of the tender process.
However, a Keppel official has denied any involvement in any potential lawsuit.
