CENTER LINE, Mich., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- AETNA industries, inc. announced financial results for the fourth quarter and 12 months ended December 29, 1996.
Net Sales for the fourth quarter of 1996 were $47.7 million, or 10.8% lower than fourth quarter 1995 sales of $53.4 million. Production sales of $45.7 million in the fourth quarter 1996 were down $6.1 million from $51.9 million in the fourth quarter of 1996, while tooling and prototype sales were up $.4 million for the same period. Production sales were adversely affected by the planned phase out of a GM van program that concluded in June 1996. Tooling sales were favorably impacted by model year 1999 ...
