On Dec. 12, FDA held a "Nutrition Roundtable Discussion with Stakeholders" to update interested persons about FDA's current nutrition activities. FDA speakers included CENTER FOR FOOD SAFETY AND APPLIED NUTRITION (CFSAN) Director Steve Sundlof, Associate Commissioner for Foods David Acheson, and DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF NUTRITION, LABELING, AND DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS Barbara Schneeman. FDA intends to hold Roundtables periodically to provide updates on the agency's nutrition activities.
