Hanoi, January 2 (VNA) -- Vietnam 's stock market was covered by a gloomy atmosphere in the first trading day of the new year on January 2 after the last two busy sessions of last year. The VN-Index of the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) opened the new year with a decrease of 2.28 points or 0.72 percent to close at 313.34 points.
