Kenya s wavering energy sector will next year get a boost as Ethiopia moves to sell its surplus power to the country, offering hope of plugging expected shortfall.
Ethiopia will have an extra 1,155 megawatts of electricity in 2009 and intends to export the surplus to its neighbours once three new hydropower projects are complete, an official of the state-owned utility said.
