JBS S.A. apparently is negotiating with the U.S. Department of Justice and attorneys general from 17 states to allow the company to complete its acquisition of National Beef Packing Co. through an agreement in which JBS would sell certain JBS and/ or National plants to satisfy competitive-market concerns raised by Justice and the attorneys general, according to court documents.
