SAINT-BRUNO, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 1997--BOMBARDIER INC. (TSE;ME:BBD.A) Bombardier subsidiary Talbot, of Aachen, Germany, has been awarded a contract for the supply of nine diesel- powered multiple lightweight units (DMUs), consisting of three cars each, to the Ostmecklenburg Railway Company (Ostmecklenburgische Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH or OME), of Germany. The contract is valued at 26 million Canadian dollars.
