Jan. 6--Greensboro College's Kacie Hyatt, a Southern Guilford product, was named to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) college division all-state volleyball first team.
An outside hitter, the junior started all 38 games for Greensboro. She had 549 kills, three short of school record and was named first team all-USA South Conference.
Hyatt had 31 kills in an Oct. 11 match against SUNY Oneonta and was a two-time USA South player of the week for The Pride.
