Mrs. Gina de Venecia, wife of former Speaker Joe de Venecia, sans the usual coterie of congressional spouses, quietly visited The Haven for Women in Alabang last Dec. 18 and hosted a Christmas party to some 410 clients of the said institution, The Haven for Children and Marillac Hills.

Merriment filled the air as she distributed her aguinaldo to all. Together, they shared a hefty merienda and enjoyed the song and dance numbers by the clients.

They also surprised Manay Gina with a song composed specially for her by the social workers and the clients, with the help of Pastor Cris Garcia of Lighthouse Ministry.
