Campero USA Corp., the U.S. affiliate of Pollo Campero, the leading chain of chicken quick service restaurants from Latin America, held a reception in South Florida on December 10 to benefit the Ayudame a Vivir Foundation ("Help Me Live Foundation"). Patty Gutierrez, director of philanthropy and public relations at Campero USA, organized this inaugural event, which was held at the Grand Bay Club in Key Biscayne. The invite-only event was held to promote the launch of the Ayudame a Vivir Foundation in the United States, helping to raise much needed money for pediatric cancer research and treatment (see also Cancer).
