22 Percent Increase in Shipments; No Near Term Brewery Investment

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Pete's Brewing Company (Nasdaq: WIKD) today announced financial results for its fourth quarter and year-ended December 31, 1996 with 1996 shipments totaling 426,000 barrels, a 22 percent increase compared to year-ended 1995. For the fourth quarter 1996, the Company shipped 114,000 barrels of beer, a 12 percent increase compared to the fourth quarter 1995, generating net sales of $19,081,000 and net income of $6,000, or $0.00 per share.
