ROCKVILLE, Md., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitro Corporation, a subsidiary of Tracor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTRR), was awarded a five-year, $15 million contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Newport, R.I. Under the contract, Vitro will provide the engineering and technical services support required to operate and maintain NUWC's Torpedo Test Facility Complex (TTFC).
In support of the TTFC, Vitro will provide design, development, test article buildup, and subsystem/system testing, as well as performance testing for thermal and electric engines used in undersea weapons and special purpose vehicles. The work will be performed primarily by personnel at ...
