Feb. 27--The building may only be three months old, but when you walk through the front doors at U.S. Trust Company in Boca Raton, it seems to take on an age of its own.
Perhaps it's the reputation of the oldest American trust company -- it started conducting business in 1853, seven years after Florida was made a state -- that creates the elegant feeling of the building on Palmetto Park Road near the Intracoastal. Or perhaps it's the brass trim and warm wood colors that distinguish the private banking and investment company.
