Ex-principal sentenced:
A former Spring Grove elementary school principal who was found in a suburban Milwaukee motel room with two teenage girls has been sentenced to one year in jail. Daniel Markofski, 47, pleaded guilty in September in Milwaukee County court to two counts of exposing a child to harmful material and one count of committing a sex act with a child. The girls were ages 15 and 16. Milwaukee County Circuit Judge John Franke also ordered Markofski to serve 18 months of extended supervision
and to register as a sex offender.
