ABU DHABI, Jan. 8 Asia Pulse - The Government of Abu Dhabi has published a long-term plan to transfor the Emirate's economy, including a reduced reliance on the oil sector as a source of economic activity over time and a greater focus on knowledge-based industries in the future.
Entitled 'The Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030', the document provides a comprehensive plan to diversify the Emirate's economy and a significant increase in the non-oil sector's contribution to the Emirate's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by the year 2030.
