One of the most common misconceptions about Polar seas is the idea that if ice shelves or icebergs melt, the sea level will automatically rise. This is not true, and 1 will soon explain why. If you are already seething at this point and crying out, well then just let me justify this point first. When I first read about this, even I did not believe a word of it. So I did the experiment and to my surprise it proved the theory correct.
