Proposed Strip Mall To Be 'Cornerstone' of Development on Southern Corridor
Just as steamy-hot, mineral-laden waters attracted Native Americans and European explorers to the pools in what would become downtown Hot Springs, a four-lane, controlled-access highway is drawing retail businesses and shoppers south of town.
The Martin Luther King Expressway, offering a southern loop from U.S. Highway 270 west of town to U.S. 70 to the east, isn't yet complete, but it's already become the focal point of development in Garland County.
