Jan. 8--Innovation of sorts will be in evidence at the Colusa Farm Show, Feb. 3 -5, as it stages a commodity cook-off for the second year.
The cook-off will feature California-grown rice and nuts. Fair CEO Carolan Meek said that the contest, which is being co-sponsored by the Colusa Casino Resort and Tri-County Newspapers, is a great way to show off prize-winning recipes -- and to inform people about their food sources.
