European Commission: Gas shipments to Europe, to Ukraine are separate issues
BRUSSELS. Jan 8 (Interfax) - The European Commission welcomes the resumption of talks on gas shipments between Russia and Ukraine, but says that gas shipments to the European Union and talks between Ukraine and Russia on gas deliveries to Ukraine are separate issues.
The European Commission's position was voiced in Brussels, at an emergency meeting of the European Parliament's international affairs committee on Thursday.
