DALLAS, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh America Corp. (Nasdaq: FRES), a Dallas-based food distribution management company, today announced that it has now commenced operation of a value-added production facility in Richmond, Indiana. This facility uses high technology equipment to cut and package fresh vegetables and also employs ripening, computer sorting and packing equipment for tomatoes.
The facility, Fresh America - Richmond, will provide certain fresh produce products for the distribution program with Fast Food Merchandiser's, as well as developing programs for other current and future Fresh America customers. The existing experienced management team ...
