NEW YORK, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Viral Research Corp. (Nasdaq: ADVR) announced the appointment of Robert C. Kolodny, M.D. to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Kolodny is currently Medical Director and Chairman of the Board, Behavioral Medicine Institute, New Canaan, Conn. He is also Founder and Managing General Partner of six investment partnerships and serves as a consultant to medical technology companies. From 1988 through 1994 he served as a director of Lynch Corporation (AMEX: LGL) and currently is a director of Gabelli-O'Connor Treasurer's Fund, Darien, Conn.
