Fr. Ed Hays, author, spiritual guide and "God spy," lives in and writes from a space without borders. Words like "natural" and "supernatural' don't fit into his One Spirit universe. In Hays' place, the Christmas story, the Incarnation of Jesus, this fusing of spirit and matter, soul and body, did not solely happen 2,000 years ago. Yes, it happened then, but it is also happening now and will continue to happen through time. For Hays, the Incarnation through time is the Christmas Good News.
