Festo Corp. says its CMMS-ST single-axis position controller integrates with EMMS-ST stepper motors to form a comprehensive easy-to-use package for single- and multiple-axis handling capable of loads up to 20 kg. More specifically:
* The EMMS-ST 2-phase hybrid stepper motor can grant a holding torque from 0.5 to 9.3 Nm, while providing numerous options, such as an integrated brake, incremental encoder feedback, and a 3:1 or 5:1 external gearbox.
