TESCO is this week expected to reveal that it received a boost over Christmas as shoppers splurged on the more expensive products in its Finest range, which includes jumbo butter croissants and goose fat.
In the three weeks to December 31, sales of its Finest range exceeded its Value range for the first time since the summer.
