Dhaka, Jan 11 (UNB) - Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister GM Qader said the new government would review the voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) in Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited if any injustice was done, now that the sacked officials moved for reinstatement.
'We will definitely look into the matter if any injustice was done, otherwise it will remain as it is now,' he told UNB over telephone Sunday.
Some 1,000 former Biman officials, who lost their jobs under the voluntary retirement scheme in 2007, Saturday staged demonstrations at its headquarters, Balaka, in Dhaka for getting back their jobs in the changed times.
