"The Breakfast Club" movie and The Breakfast Club cafe both came along in the mid-'80s.
But the date and the name are about the only thing the two have in common. The kitsch-filled Lake City cafe is home to Seattle's best corned beef hash ($9.25), a crispy fried jumble of meat and russets topped by a trio of eggs.
This signature dish used to be only an occasional special, but it now has joined its rightful place as the star of the extensive breakfast menu.
What makes it such a standout?
