Jan. 12--John and Frances Osteen of Aiken spent two weeks of December helping to bring the Christmas message to life for impoverished children in Kenya. The Osteens spent Dec. 4-16 in Kenya working with Life for Children Ministry, a missions group which supports children orphaned by HIV and AIDS. The Osteens assisted at a three-day, four-night Bible camp for children ages 6 to 18 in the towns of Kisumu, located in western Kenya on Lake Victoria, and Wachara, a tiny village about 75 miles south of Kisumu.
