Bill Stone, one of the four remaining British First World War veterans, has died at the age of 108.
Mr Stone's daughter and son-in-law were with him at his residential home near Wokingham, Berkshire, when he died.
Last year he astounded doctors by recovering in time to celebrate his 108th birthday.
