Syracuse police arrested two suspects in a Saturday night shooting near Weber's Restaurant, said Sgt. Tom Connellan, a police spokesman.
Police say Travis Jackson, 19, of 1813 E. Fayette St., and Quashaun Williams, 20, of 610 Turtle St., were trying to rob a pawn dealer when the shooting occurred.
The assault occurred about 8:40 p.m., Connellan said. Jackson had called the victim, Sidney Gladle, 34, of Syracuse, to arrange a meeting. Jackson wanted to sell Gladle two necklaces, Connellan said.
Gladle brought William Walsh, 38, of Syracuse to the meeting and Jackson brought Williams.
