TAIPEI, Jan 13 Asia Pulse - Forty-six per cent of Taiwan's office workers surveyed recently said they have been forced to take some sort of unpaid leave since last October due to the economic slump, with their average monthly income cut by 30 per cent as a result, according to the survey's findings revealed Monday.
The survey, conducted by the online human resources company www.1111.com.tw, showed that the number of those in the information technology and traditional manufacturing industries made up the greatest number of workers who were asked to take unpaid leave.
