As the seasons change, so does the temperature outside. But no matter what the season, our bodies stay the same temperature. How do we manage to keep the same temperature all year long? Let's take a closer look and see how it works.
The human body temperature stays within a narrow range of 97 [degrees] to 100 [degrees] Fahrenheit (36.1 [degrees] to 37.8 [degrees] Celsius). Our body systems could not function if the temperature varied from this range for very long. We maintain an average temperature of 98.6 [degrees] through a delicate balance of heat production and heat loss.
