At its recent annual meeting in Austin, Texas, AMT--The Association for Manufacturing Technology elected Ronald F. Schildge as its 2008-09 board chairman. Schildge is president of Eitel Presses, Inc. (Orwigsburg, Pa.) and its parent company, Transmares Corp. Last year Schildge was selected the group's second vice chairman; he now replaces outgoing chairman Doug Currie, president and CEO of Erie Press Systems (Erie, Pa.).
In addition to owning Eitel, Transmares Corp. (Annandale, N.J.), of which Schildge is president, also holds stake in Precision Roll Grinders Inc. Schildge, a graduate of Cornell Univ., also has senior management roles in other businesses in the ...
