Energy Futures Markets Remain Vulnerable without Governmental Action

SEATTLE -- According to the Washington Oil Marketers Association (WOMA), despite overwhelming evidence that speculators drove oil prices to historic highs last summer, the federal government has yet to enact meaningful reform to prevent another speculative oil price surge which would end the lower gas and heating oil prices that have given consumers relief in these tough economic times.
