Citi ups stake in top Lithuanian drug firm Sanitas to 37%
VILNIUS. Jan 14 (BNS) - Citigroup Venture Capital International (CVCI) has increased its stake in Lithuania's largest pharmaceuticals company, Sanitas, with the purchase of 20.3% of shares from Lithuanian investment firm Invalda.
The shares were sold for 103.52 million litai and the deal has been closed, Invalda president Darius Sulnis told BNS.
He said Invalda does not plan to sell its remaining shares in Sanitas in the medium-term.
