TURKISH Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat said yesterday there was no way Turkish Cypriot teams could become part of the Cyprus Football Association (CFA).
Talat was speaking in response to the CFA Chairman, who announced that the association had "accepted in principle" a final document presented by FIFA regarding the accession of Turkish Cypriot football clubs to the CFA. This, he said, would open the way for Turkish Cypriot teams to compete abroad.
