NEW YORK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 1997--The Wall Street Journal announced today that four stocks will be changed in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, effective with trading Monday, March 17.
Travelers Group Inc., an offshoot of a company in the industrial average six years ago, will replace Westinghouse Electric Corp.; Hewlett-Packard Co. will replace Texaco Inc.; Johnson & Johnson will replace Bethlehem Steel Corp., and Wal Mart Stores Inc. will replace Woolworth Corp.
Changes in components of the 30-stock average are decided by the editors of The Wall Street Journal, which is published by Dow Jones & Company. The latest changes will ...
