Tommy Bartlett Inc., the iconic Wisconsin Dells tourist attraction, is suing Sun Prairie-based General Casualty Insurance for not covering losses incurred after Lake Delton drained, ending water ski shows there last summer.
Owned by Wisconsin Dells businessman Tom Diehl, the company is now seeking $1.5 million from its insurer along with punitive damages and attorney fees.
According to a civil suit filed in Sauk County Circuit Court, Diehl had obtained a special business casualty insurance policy from General Casualty in fall 2007. The policy, which carried an annual premium of $22,000, was to pay Bartlett Inc. up to $1.5 ...
