Jan. 16--Fred Fridley expected Liz Sipma to be a contributor to the University of Mary women's basketball team by her junior season. The Dickinson native has certainly lived up to expectations. "She was a great contributor to our program a year ago," said Fridley, who is in his sixth season as the Marauders' head coach. "She's gotten so much stronger. Her game has evolved." Sipma is averaging 9.8 points and 3.1 rebounds a game for the Marauders (8-6, 3-4 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) and has started every game this season.
