Introduction
Food cravings are a leading cause of poor diet adherence. Diet adherence is the best determinate of successful weight loss. Therefore, we can improve diet stick-to-it-ness by getting rid of food cravings. Smart dieters will do everything possible to avoid food cravings rather than fight a losing (not as in "losing weight") battle. We mere mortals have smell, taste, and gut feelings intrinsically hardwired in our brains.
