Smithers promotes Preston, Carr steps into her position
AKRONJeanette R. Preston has been promoted to the position of vice president of Smithers Quality Assessments, and Jeffrey A. Carr will take her place as director of operations.
Preston succeeds John R. Sedlak, who is retiring from the company.
She will be responsible for managing all aspects of SQA operations.
Preston joined Smithers in 2007, bringing more than 20 years of quality systems management and auditing experience, including management positions with third-party quality systems certification bodies QMI and AGA Quality, and manager of the center for quality at Bearings Inc. ...
