Ames Rubber Corp. plans to add 10 to 15 employees to its work force in January, following a pattern it set in early 2008 and continued throughout the year.
The additions will boost employment at the company to about 235, more than double the 114 it had on hand in February 2008.
The new jobs will bolster Ames' sales and marketing, engineering, material and project development, production and quality operations, according to President and CEO Chuck Roberts.
Ames also has increased capacity in its injection molding department at its 110,000-sq.-ft. plant in Hamburg.
