Jan. 17--FORT MADISON -- Angry about the state of gravel roads in Lee County, five rural residents made their displeasure known Tuesday during the regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Supervisors. "My main concern is the way our maintenance is kept in our gravel roads, particularly in the south division," said Duane Grelk of rural Donnellson.
Two roads singled out as particularly bad were 255th Street and the southern portion of 150th Avenue. "We're getting a dirt curb along the edge of the road so the water can't run into the ditch, which on 150th Avenue is about six inches high ... which makes the road bed get ...
