COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Mar. 20--American Telecasting Inc. has agreed to sell off its "wireless" cable operations in as many as nine Southern markets, the Colorado Springs-based company announced Wednesday.
BellSouth Corp., based in Atlanta and one of the former Baby Bell companies, will pay $67.9 million to $103.2 million for the operations, which include more than 35,000 existing customers, the rights to wireless cable licenses and rights to use additional channels.
