GAITHERSBURG, Md., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin Federal Systems in Gaithersburg, a business unit of Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT), announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Commerce Department's Census Bureau to support the Year 2000 Decennial Census. The initial value of the Data Capture System contract is valued at approximately $49 million.
