Jan. 20--A variety of peanut butter cookies and crackers were removed from the shelves of Hutchinson Dillons and Wal-Mart stores over the weekend as a recall related to the discovery of salmonella in a Georgia peanut butter plant continued to expand. For those preparing to order Girl Scout cookies, however, the peanut butter used in those products is not sourced from the supplier involved in the current recall, according to both Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers/Interbake Foods.
